The Quarantined Characters Blog Tag!

Today, I'm doing my first tag ever! How amazing I'm doing it so soon in the blog world. I got tagged by Jenna because she tagged everyone who was the reading the blog post to do it and I couldn't pass this one up.

Okay, so there are rules:

  1. Technically, these aren't rules... just guidelines.
  2. Just share about what any of your original characters (yes, any, from whichever project you choose) would be doing if they lived in this modern world during this pandemic- ALL QUARANTINED IN ONE HOUSE. Use pictures of them if you like. Don't if you're like me ;).
  3. Tag other quarantined writers you know to do this tag and link back to this post so I read can read all about your characters' quarantined adventures! Use this link: https://imperialscribis.wordpress.com/2020/04/03/what-your-characters-are-doing-in-quarantine-blog-tag/
So, I'm going to use my characters from my current WIP (which is the FHE series). It's amusing to me because my characters are based in the future. So they have to go into the past for this.
Anyway, if these characters are quarantined in one house, they would...

Smoke would be go a little crazy. He's an introvert, but he hates not doing anything important or useful. Any activity stuck in a quarantined house would not fall into those categories. So he would stay in his room, pacing back and forth, and spend lots of time with Blossom to kept his sanity.

Blossom would cope with it well and would take advantage with spending time with people she didn't have the chance to have a lot of time with before. She would cook and practice her skills, and would be the one to make sure no one kills someone, break up fights and stop people from going insane (like Smoke).

Gum would enjoy being stuck with people. Since my cast of characters is a fair amount of people, she would be reminded of home (she lived in a big family). She would hang out with anyone who wants her company (and probably those who don't). She would be very creative in finding something to do with others. If she sees someone bored or unsure what to do, she would jump in and help them get something to do (Smoke may or may not hiding his room because of this).

Polar would find it overwhelming since she's not use to being around people. She would spend most of her time in her room, reading, doing art, listening music, maybe even writing and other indoor hobbies. Whatever mood she's in. Of course, she would come out for food but only for a few minutes.

Maciej would glare at anyone who comes into his line of vision. He would be really obnoxious and sit in the place where people are likely to trip over him. Then he would fight them for getting into his space. He would sometimes sit in the corner of the main room and stare at everyone, occasionally making comments at everything they do (another reason Smoke stays in his room).

Tree would be fine as well. It wouldn't be much different from his normal home life (though there would be more people than he's use to). He would do the things he likes to do on his own for hours then would spend time with his twin brother, Daffodil and the rest of his friends when he gets too lonely. He would also eventually tie up Maciej and dump him in some place out of the way.

Lon would scheme every detail of the plans he would do when he gets out of quarantine. He would spend most of his time in his room, thinking. He would spend time with his brother and others he likes every few days.

Kayo would probably try everything he could find in the house to entertain himself then abandon all of it and brood in his room. If anyone approaches him in this time he would scream at them (except his brother because he would just scream back at him and that would defeat the purpose of screaming at people in the first place. He would lock the door to prevent that.) If he catches Smoke any time during the quarantine... uh, won't go down well (yet another reason to stay in his room).

Daffodil would cling to Gum and Tree mostly. Then she would warm up to the others and hang out with them (she would still avoid those who are really cold and mean). She would read a book in her alone time.

Fern would go mildly rabid. She would hate being stuck in a house with a bunch of people who she mostly doesn't like. To entertain herself, she would play around with her weapons all over the house (and probably break things and cut people in the process).

Steel would do... nothing. Seriously, he would probably sit somewhere in the same spot for hours and hours.

Seek would get a mental breakdown from having too many people around him. He would yell at everyone to stop moving and be still long enough for him to imagine them gone. He would spend time with only his family, except for Smoke. (They are not on good terms at the moment. For Seek to be quarantined with him would alone drive him mad. Another reason for Smoke to be shut up in his room.)

Moth would use this time to catch up with everything she didn't have time for. Like reading those medical, science and technology e-books. She would be perfectly happy in doing that and nothing else.

Simba would try to spend a lot of his time with his daughter, Blossom. And try make conversation with Steel (and would fail in that). He would also complain to Falcon about the quarantine and everything else that's wrong with the world. He would help Blossom with breaking up fights.

Falcon would do what he does best. Which is keeping his family and the rest of the humans stuck in the house together. But particularly his family because they have the most aggressive nature and are likely to get into the fights with each other. When he's not worrying about his family's insanity and inability to get along, he would read a book. Near a window. He would like to see the world that he can't be a part of.

Wow, some of my characters have serious issues. But this is based off book one. They get better later on in the series. Most of them at least.
Well, since I don't have much of a media presence, I can't tagged anyone. So, will leave it at that. Have a great day and be healthy.
