The Bear of Rosethorn Ring Cover Reveal

Usually I would have this cover reveal up and loaded by now. But life wasn't treating me kind on the day that I was planning to do it and I ended up not doing it. So now I am rushing to get this done. If you guys can't tell, time zones are different with me and the people I work with so it's tricky for me to keep my post align with theirs.

Anyway, today, I am helping to reveal the cover for The Bear of Rosethorn Ring, the 4th book in a fairy tale series called Once Upon a Twist Tales. It is a retelling of Snow White and Rose Red (which is a fantastic fairy tale by the way). This is the second book that I have heard of doing the retelling of this one. Which I am so onboard with because we all need more obscure fairy tales being told, am I right?

Here's the blurb:
When their father runs away, Marita and Diamond Kadlec realise how different twins can be. Martia's ready to forget Lucas entirely, but Diamond wants to give him the second chance she's never been able to give before. That's before they discover that Lucas is indebted to the ill tempered D'vard and his traveling circus, the Rosethorn Ring. The Ring's entertainment lacks a bear, and Lucas must play the part of the savage creature to regain his freedom.
Lorcan D'vard cares only for three things: tending to his beloved beard, promoting his Rosethorn Ring, and eradicating the assassin out to kill him. With time running out, D'vard agrees to cancel Lucas's debt and let him go free - if Martia and Diamond can apprehend the assassin before the assassin ends the show.

This is a Snow White and Rose Red with a twist like you've never seen it before!

Doesn't that sound amazing? 😍😍😍 You guys, I know that I must read this and the other books in the series as well (I have been eying them for a while now). You know what is so cool about this series? Not only it does twists on the fairy tales but it also has steampunk elements in it!!!! Yes, please. I need steampunk in my life. Steampunk is so fascinating to me and while I haven't yet read any steampunk books before (shocking), I know I will love this subgenre to bits!!!!
And now for the cover reveal you are all waiting for...

How far would Snow White and Rose Red go to save the man behind the bear?

😍😱I'm in love with this! It is so beautiful!! *stares at it for a while* *realises is meant to write this post quickly*

About the author: Kirsten is a twenty-something Christian writer who loves being the wife to her favourite person ever, mommy to precious blessings, a piano enthusiast, a dragon buff, a serious bookworm, and an INFP synesthete. Fairytales have always fascinated her, and she has made it her goal to rewrite as many as possible and become known as the "Grimm Dickens" (i.e. mixing Grimm fairytales with a Dickens style). She is present in many online circles under the name "Kiri Liz" if you care about things like that. As you read this, She'll be somewhere under a maple tree - trying very hard to finish the seventeen and half other stories she unwisely started all at once.

Also check out this post by her to get little extra details about the book!

What do you think about the cover?

  1. Yay! Another Snow White Rose Red fan! This fairytale definitely needs more retellings; I just don't understand why it isn't more widely known and loved. Hopefully, this book will help with that. *winks*

Thanks so much for helping with the cover reveal! Your post was a lot of fun to read!

    1. Yes, a very proud fan of this fairy tale! YESS, it has so much to play with that it is interesting that it never got popular among the fairy tale retelling authors. It isn't even dark or inappropriate like some of the more popular ones used to be. It is quite strange how such good ones like this one never became really known or loved. It so deserves it! I love this fairy tale more than most of the more popular ones! Yess, I also hope this book will help people see its awesomeness!

You're welcome! I am so happy to help. ^-^ I'm glad it was to fun to read! Thanks for commenting and dropping by!

    1. I know, right? ME TOO, SO MUCH!!!!!! Yes, *all da heart eyes* Yeah, I love retellings of the same tales being told over and over again, but like we need new retellings too, you know. So many good ones have been missed. It is such a shame. YES, it is rare one, and it really shouldn't be because the tale is amazing! *dances with you* Oh, that's awesome!!! We really need to read them, don't we?
