Hunger Cover Reveal
Well, look at that. I'm posting today. *surprise from the crowd* But don't get excited because I'm still on hiatus. And this is scheduled, so I'm not actually here when this post shows up.
Anyway, I'm doing another cover reveal!!!!!!!!!! I am so honoured to be part of this cover reveal day for this book, Hunger by Jill Williamson, the second book in the Thirst Duology, prequel to the Safe Lands Trilogy.
I haven't read the Safe Lands books or Thirst and I am very sad that I haven't yet.
Here's the blurb (probably containing spoilers for book 1, fair warning):
In wake of a pandemic, Eli and his friends find a thriving community that offers free housing, food, and thankfully, safe drinking water But something is amiss. The residents spend most their time partying and attending concerts. No one seems concerned that the virus is still out there. When Eli tries to leave, he discovers a fence has been built to keep him, and everyone else, inside.
Hannah is tired of running. When she is conscripted to work in the hospital, she hopes she's finally found a place to belong, but Admin's disregard for a doctor's pledge to "First do not harm" is unsettling.
As Hannah starts to wonder if she will ever feel safe again, Eli clings to his hope for freedom. In a world filled with lies, can they learn to trust each other? Of will their hunger for safety trap them in a world that's not so safe after all?
The ebook for Hunger is available for pre-order on Amazon. The book releases on April 8, 2021, in hardcover, paperback and ebook. For more information, to pre-order, or to add the book to your Goodreads page, visit Jill Williamson.
And for now the cover... I'm going to make you scroll further this time. Hehe.

Isn't the one of the most gorgeous covers you have ever seen?! I love this cover so much. This cover right here makes me realise why people love covers so much. I still wouldn't buy a book for its cover, but they will catch my attention for sure!
Anyway, that's it, thanks for reading and I will see you later. *Returns to hiatus mode*
AAAAAAAHHHHHH THAT COVER!!!!!! It's AMAZING!!!!!! EEEEKKKKK!!!!!!!! I think I'm gonna go stare at it for a couple of hours!! Thirst is up close to the tippy top of books for me to get!! Aaahhh, I just wanna go read it right now sooooo badly!!!! AWESOME post!! When I saw you had a new one I was like YAY RIBBON ASH IS BACK!!!!!!!!! And now you're going again. *sobs into tissues* *waves bye dramatically* XD XD Keep enjoying your hiatus, girl!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW THAT COVER!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely one worthy of being stared at for a long time! Oh, it is? I don't know where it is for me, but it is up somewhere near the top for me too (Which isn't saying much since there are so many books at the top of my TBR). YES, I want to read it so badly too. Why do sequels made you more desperate for the first? I knew that was going to happen. Sorry! *hands you more tissues* *waves back at you dramatically* Aww, Thank you!
DeleteOh my goodness, the cover!! 😍 It's absolutely GORGEOUS. Like, HOW!?!?!
ReplyDeleteHaha, anyway, it's good to see you back for a little bit! :)
I know, right? I don't even know. The artist for this cover did an amazing job. I don't know if you have seen the first book cover, but it is gorgeous too!
DeleteThanks! It was nice to be back for a little bit :)
Ribbon Ash is back! Love the new blog design.
ReplyDeleteThat book looks cool. Never read the first one though....heh.
Yes! *Pumps fist* Thank you! I'm really happy with it. ^_^
DeleteYes, it does. Same, as you know. Definitely need to after swooning over the cover of the second, don't you?
I love it!
ReplyDeleteAll the heart-eyes.
DeleteThat is such a gorgeous cover!!! (I skimmed the blurb to avoid possible spoilers... XD) I really want to read this series!
ReplyDeleteI know! (Very smart of you. I had to read it to write it, but I avoided reading it as long as possible XD). Me too! Is it just me, or does series/sequels make you want to read the first book more?
